Scytodes tardigrada Thorell, 1881 Slow Walker

A six eyed spider from North Queensland, Iron Range. (This spider shares it name with a phylum, Tardigrada. Tardigrades are small, water-dwelling, segmented animals with eight legs, were first described in 1773 by Johann August Ephraim Goeze, who called them kleiner Wasserbär, meaning 'little water bear'. The name Tardigrada means "slow walker" coined by Lazzaro Spallanzani in 1777. Their walk is reminiscent of a bear's gait.) ♀ 4mm ♂ 4mm
