Medium sized trapdoor, widespread and abundant in Brisbane (in at least 33 suburbs) and elsewhere in South East Queensland and NNSW. Carapace rounded, hirsute. Dorsal abdomen mottled; legs without annulations. Eyes on tubercle in 3 rows. The generic name refers to South East Queensland, where this genus is found.
Female, face on
Another female, a darker form, perhaps because it has not recently moulted. ID confirmed by Dr Robert Raven.
