ATRACIDAE Sydney funnelweb and allies

Atracidae has some of Australia's medically important funnelweb spiders. Its three genera Atrax, Hadronyche and Illawarra were recently separated from the sister family Hexathelidae. The well known Sydney Funnel-web Spider Atrax robustus is considered by some authorities to be the world's most dangerous spider.
