A small to medium-sized jumping spider, females to 7mm, males darker and smaller, to 6mm. Usually found wandering on foliage where they are well camouflaged. Known from Queensland in dry eucalypt scrub to rainforest margins. The body is a cryptic pattern of buff-cream to white with patches of browns and oranges. The females sometimes have pale, translucent, even greenish yellow legs and are generally more brightly coloured than the male. This is the type species for the genus.
