A medium-sized ant-eating jumping spider known from New Guinea, its adjacent islands, and northern Australia, in rainforest and fringes. Both males and females are black with white wavy lines across the rear of the abdomen. Prey, almostly exclusively ants, is caught by ambush, active pursuit and web gleaning. The species name is for Jules Sébastien César Dumont d'Urville (23 May 1790 - 8 May 1842). ♀ 11mm ♂ 10mm
