This is the largest of the Wugigarra spp. the others being small to tiny. Males and females are similar, nearly 5mm in body length and found in several locations in south eastern South Australia, especially the Mount Lofty Range area. Named for the Kaurna, an aboriginal tribe from the Mount Lofty Range district. The last woman survivor of the tribe, Ivaritji, died in 1931.
