Sidymella longipes (L. Koch, 1874) Longlegged Sidymella

A medium to large crab spider similar to Sidymella trapezia but with longer legs. Widely distributed on Australia's east coast, probably throughout Australasia, common on New Zealand's north Island. Females to 15mm males a little smaller. The species name longipes means long legs.
