Ananeon sp. aff. Ananeon howardensis (but probably not)

Despite this species having a near identical male palp to Ananeon howardensis and in one case pretty much the same location it appears to be another species, as it is much bigger and has an outrageously bifurcated fang, and some really large tooth-like spurs on the chelicera. The embolus which lies across the palp and has an anticlockwise curve. It has the same buggy eyes, the anterior median eyes much larger than they normally are in comparison to the other eyes. The single known species in Ananeon comes from Howard Springs NT described by Barry Richardson and this is certainly in the same genus. If there is significant variation in size and other characters like the bifurcating fangs, it could be the same species. This genus seems related to Paraphilaeus in some respects and possibly Tara.
